Library Launches Weekly Breakfast Club, Thanks to David & Charles Publishing

St Thomas Library was excited to launch a weekly breakfast club for the local community, made possible by a generous £1,000 donation from Exeter-based David & Charles Publishing. The funding was split to support the breakfast club (£500) and to enhance the Libraries Unlimited catalogue of wellbeing and craft books (£500).
Running on Friday mornings, the breakfast club offers a comfortable space to eat and relax. The library aims to provide a welcoming space for the community to start their day, enjoying a nourishing breakfast in a friendly environment.
This initiative is part of Libraries Unlimited’s ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and strengthens the role of the library as a local hub. David & Charles Publishing’s contribution not only supports local residents but also expands access to resources that promote mental and emotional health.
