Sidmouth Library will host local author Vanessa Ascough as she reads from and discusses her biography of her grandfather Archibald Stuart-Maclaren, who was one of the first to join the Royal Air Force when it was formed in 1918, and attempted to be the first to fly around the world in 1924.
