Take on a challenge or event

Do you enjoy a challenge?

Baking, reading, walking, hiking, running, cycling – the possibilities are endless. There are so many ways you can help raise vital funds for Libraries Unlimited, we have listed just a few below to kick start your imagination, but we look forward to hearing what ideas you come up with:

  • Read a 100 books
  • Walk a 100km in a month
  • Run a half marathon or marathon (we’ve just announced our Exeter Half Marathon places- see below!)
  • If you enjoy being outdoors and keeping fit, then an Ultra Challenge could be for you!

NEW!

Run the GWR Exeter Half Marathon

We’re so excited to announce that we have 10 places available for the 2025 Great West Run on Sunday 25 May 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of Devon’s biggest running event on behalf of one of Devon’s largest charities.

If you would like to be considered for a place, please complete this application form and return to us as soon as possible, but no later than Thursday 31st October

Ultra Challenge

We have teamed up with Ultra Challenge events to become a listed charity, meaning you can take part in any of their events for a discounted entry and raise vitals funds for our work.

The events are exceptionally well organised, and finishers are welcomed over the line with fizz, medals, entertainment and often a BBQ, with camping also available as an option you can make whole weekend of it.
