What if YOU Spoke? | Creative Writing and Illustration Masterclasses

The What if YOU Spoke? masterclass series was an exciting opportunity for young creatives (aged 15-25) across Devon to develop their writing and artistic skills with expert guidance.

Ten masterclasses, featuring some of the most inspiring authors, poets, journalists, and illustrators, helped participants refine their craft while encouraging self-expression.

While the competition has concluded, the masterclasses themselves remain available online for free.

These classes cover a wide range of topics, from developing your creative voice to poetry, novels, journalism, and illustration.

No matter your age, whether you’re a budding writer or artist, you can watch and learn at your own pace.

Our competition winners, including Amelia Oxborrow, Betsy Weymouth, and Caitlin Smith, each demonstrated exceptional skill and originality in their work.

Their creations were inspired by the teachings of talented mentors like Kirsty Logan, Joff Winterhart, and Rudy Loewe.
