The Gatherer’s Project builds connections with nature in Braunton
Posted on 28 Nov 2024Based in North Devon, The Gatherer’s project collected flowers during wellbeing walks, fostering connections between nature, the local community, and creativity. Over 18 families, including resettled Afghan families, handmade bookmarks that were secretly placed in library books as delightful surprises for borrowers.
This project provided a space for creative expression, exploration of the local flora, and helped build confidence and friendship among the participants.
This project was led by Honeyscribe, and we are proud to have collaborated with the Pickwell Foundation on this initiative, which has been recognised as one of 50 projects by the European Cultural Foundation as part of The Europe Challenge 2024.
