Team Devon’s pandemic response

Devon certainly knows how to pull together. Throughout the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we’ve all worked quickly to ensure the county’s residents, communities and businesses are well informed, supported, and protected.

We are proud that our library staff have played a valuable role during this time. With library buildings closed, Libraries Unlimited, the charity which runs Devon and Torbay libraries has continued to provide services and activities to customers through digital channels. These have seen significant growth in the last few months.

The number of new users signing up for Libraries Unlimited’s eBook, eAudiobook and eMagazine services has grown significantly since lockdown.
