As part of this collaboration, we’ve has established two new cycle training hubs in our Tavistock and Honiton libraries. These hubs will serve as key information points where individuals can learn about the free adult cycle training sessions, understand how to get involved, and book their slots. By embedding these sessions within our library spaces, we are making it even easier for local residents to develop their cycling confidence and skills.

Rachel Payne, our Business Development and Fundraising Manager said:

“It’s fantastic to be working with Active Devon to bring new health and wellbeing initiatives to our communities. So far, the partnership has meant we’ve been able to offer wellbeing walks and yoga for free to our library users, and now these adult cycle confidence sessions. As these are free and open to everyone, it fits perfectly with our ethos at Libraries Unlimited to enrich lives and build communities.”

Cycle training sessions take place regularly at various locations, and we encourage anyone looking to build their confidence on a bike to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity. For more information, including session dates and how to book, please visit the adult cycle training page.
