The Lost Librarian
60 minutes, 10 books, 1 mystery… Can you solve it?
The Lost Librarian is an experimental mechanical story adventure that takes place in our libraries. Using interactive mechanical books, groups need to work together to solve the clues to unlock the books on a 60-minute journey, uncovering a fantastical tale of the last known witches in the UK and the legacy that they have left behind.
Touring of this intriguing escape room takes place in libraries from July until October 2022.

Ingrid Pollard: Books Relating To Her Art & Practice
From 6th August 2022
Ingrid Pollard, a leading figure in contemporary British art, has been nominated for the Turner Prize 2022. A display of books featuring her work, and on subjects that relate to her practice, will be available to view at Honiton Library from the 6th August.
The display coincides with an exhibition of new work by Ingrid Pollard at THG (Thelma Hubert Gallery) in Honition. Ingrid Pollard: Three Drops of Blood runs from the 6th August to the 29th October.

From Summer 2022
Discover the magic of reading with just a little help from Minecraft! Litcraft is more than just a workshop, it’s a movement! Young people across the country are discovering their new favourite books and a love for reading through these innovative sessions.
Read a bit of a book, then create the world on Minecraft via a series of unique custom worlds and specially created activities.

Unlocking the Cage
From September 2022
Unlocking the Cage is an augmented reality installation, which brings to life the captivating stories of female writers whose work lies in the special collection at Exeter Library known as “the cage.”
Now touring some of our libraries from September 2022 until March 2023, Unlocking the Cage is an immersive visual and audio journey that can be enjoyed alone, or in groups of up to 4 people at a time and takes approximately 28 minutes to complete.
You are in control of your own experience, turning the pages of the book to navigate your journey. The installation is also free to experience in hosting libraries.
