Ever wondered how to get the most out of your BorrowBox? Here are our top tips for enjoying eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines and more – all for free on BorrowBox. We love BorrowBox because it helps us explore different genres, discover new authors, and find unexpected favourites we might not usually borrow.
1. Reserve Titles
All you need to do is tap Reserve, and the app will notify you when it's your turn to borrow. You can borrow or reserve up to seven eBooks, seven eAudiobooks, and seven ePress titles at a time.
2. Unlimited Titles
Each month, a fresh selection of Unlimited titles is available on BorrowBox – no waiting, no queues. You can borrow them instantly, and they're easy to find right at the top of your BorrowBox app.
3. Use Filters and Explore Categories
Not sure what you're looking for? Browse curated collections such as monthly Unlimited borrows, Hidden Gems, Chart Toppers or Crime and Thrillers. You can also use the search bar to find specific authors, genres, or subjects.
4. Try eAudiobooks
Are you a crafter, walker, or trying to keep the kids entertained? eAudiobooks are a great way to enjoy stories while your hands are busy or you're on the move.
5. Adjust Text and Listening Settings
For eBooks you can adjust the font, enlarge the text, change line spacing, and even switch background colours to make reading more comfortable. With eAudiobooks, you can also speed up or slow down the narrator's voice to suit your listening style.
6. Build a Wish List
Spotted a title you're not ready to borrow just yet? Add it to your Reading List. It'll be saved under the My Reading Lists tab next to My Loans, ready for when you are.
7. Enjoy Your Favourite Magazines For Free
Find ePress and eMagazines like New Scientist, Grazia, Good Housekeeping, The Guardian, and many more! Subscribe to your favourite publications and the latest issue will appear automatically in your loans. You can also browse the back catalogue to read past issues anytime.
8. Return Reads Early
Finished a title before the due date? Return it early with just a couple of taps. This helps others enjoy it sooner – and frees you up to borrow something new!
9. Share Your Favourite Reads With Friends! 
Enjoying your latest read why not use the handy share feature to recommend it to your friends. Just click the three-dots at the top right corner to open the menu. Tap share and send it to a fellow book lover!
10. Simple Returns, With No Late Fees
Your loan lasts 20 days with no late fees and no stress. You don't need to return anything manually. It all comes back automatically after 20 days. Simple and hassle free!
